Trip Summary
Located only 70 km east of Ulaanbaatar, the Gorkhi Terelj National Park offers explorers an opportunity to experience Mongolian wilderness up close. It is located on the confluence of two major river systems: Tuul and Terelj. It has many well established ger camps and offers excellent horse back riding and hiking opportunities in its spectacular valley. It has interesting rock formations millions of years old and has a very rich plant life.
