This morning, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Murun, the provincial capital of Khovsgol. Upon arrival, meet your local driver for a scenic drive to Lake Khovsgol. Settle into your cozy ger camp by the lakeshore and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere surrounded by pristine winter scenery. Your driver will return on the morning of your departure for your transfer back to the airport. (Ger Camp, B, L, D)
Spend two full days at at the lake, taking in the serenity and beauty of Mongolia’s “Blue Pearl.” Enjoy leisurely walks along the frozen shoreline, admire the magnificent snow-covered landscapes, and, if the ice is thick enough, carefully explore the lake’s frozen surface. As this program does not include a guide, you may arrange optional activities directly with your ger camp, such as horseback riding, sledding, or cultural experiences with local herders. After breakfast, you will be transferred back to Murun for your return flight to Ulaanbaatar. Upon arrival, our driver will meet you and transfer you to your requested drop-off location. (B)
