Mongolia Quest Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Mongolia Quest! By accessing or using our services, including booking a tour or engaging with our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. General Provisions

1.1. Agreement: These Terms and Conditions constitute an agreement between you (the “Traveler”) and Mongolia Quest, a company registered in Mongolia, offering travel experiences in Mongolia.

1.2. Amendments: Mongolia Quest reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and your continued use of the services will signify your acceptance of those changes.

2. Booking and Payments

2.1. Booking Process: To book a tour with Mongolia Quest, Travelers must complete the trip application form and provide the necessary personal information. A valid passport and payment details are required to confirm the reservation.

2.2. Payment: All bookings must be secured with a deposit or full payment, depending on the tour package. The remaining balance must be paid [insert time frame] before departure. Payments are accepted via card using the Golomt Bank online payment page or through wire transfer. Full payment is due 90 days prior to the start of the trip. 

2.3. Cancellations and Refunds: Cancellations must be made in writing to Mongolia Quest. Refunds will be processed according to the following schedule:

  • Up to 90 days prior to departure: $250 per person handling fee;
  • 89-60 days prior to departure: 20% of the trip cost per person;
  • 60-45 days prior to departure: 50% of the trip cost per person;
  • 44-30 days prior to departure: 75% of the trip cost, per person;
  • 29 days prior to departure, or after the trip starts: no-refund.

Some airfares may be nonrefundable. Once an expedition has departed, there will be no refunds from MQ for any unused portions of the trip. The above policy also applies to all extensions and independent travel arrangements made in conjunction with this program.

2.4. Travel Insurance: Mongolia Quest highly recommends that all Travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, loss of luggage, and other unforeseen events.

3. Tour Modifications and Cancellations

3.1. Mongolia Quest’s Right to Modify: Mongolia Quest reserves the right to make modifications to the itinerary, accommodation, or other aspects of the tour for reasons beyond our control, including weather, local events, or unforeseen circumstances.

3.2. **Cancellation by Mongolia Quest: In the event of a tour cancellation by Mongolia Quest, a full refund will be provided to the Traveler. We will notify you as soon as possible of any cancellations.

4. Traveler Responsibility

4.1. Health and Fitness: Travelers must ensure that they are physically and mentally fit for the tour. Some tours may involve challenging activities, such as trekking, camel riding, or wildlife exploration, and it is the responsibility of the Traveler to assess their own ability.

4.2. Behavior: Travelers must conduct themselves in a manner that is respectful of local customs, laws, and the environment. Failure to do so may result in removal from the tour, with no refund.

5. Liability and Disclaimer

5.1. Mongolia Quest’s Liability: Mongolia Quest is not liable for any injury, loss, damage, or illness sustained during the tour, unless caused by our negligence. By participating, you agree to waive any liability against Mongolia Quest related to such incidents.

5.2. Force Majeure: Mongolia Quest shall not be held liable for any failure to perform our obligations under these Terms and Conditions due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, political instability, or strikes.
