Hustai National Park Day Tour

Dates: Throughout The Year

TRIP SUMMARY

Begin your Hustai National Park tour just 120 km west of Ulaanbaatar, where conservation success has restored over 400 wild Takhi (Przewalski’s horses) to their native grasslands.

As a nation dedicated to conservation, Mongolia aims to protect up to 30% of its land through national parks, making it an ideal destination for mountain trekking and horseback riding. Khustai National Park, established in 1992, plays a crucial role in reintroducing the world’s only wild horses, which had once gone extinct in Mongolia. Today, over 400 thriving Przewalski’s horses roam freely in this scenic landscape, which also boasts archaeological wonders and rich nomadic heritage. It’s the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life.
